Zoe
and Ziggy are Cornish Rexes. Zoe & Ziggy are brother and sister
(same mother and father) from different litters. Before adopting
them, my family had never been cat-people. How our lives have
changed! As newlyweds, my husband and I wanted to practice our
parenting skills on pets. By accident I discovered the Cornish Rex
breed while volunteering at the Humane Society. Cornish Rexes are
like puppies...following you from room to room, always wanting to be
held and loved.
Zoe is our beauty. She is very elegant and sophisticated but has a
definite wild side to her. She loves being the center of attention.
Ziggy is our crazy one. His nickname is Pig because he is the food
dish guard. No matter what time of day, he makes sure there is always
food in the dish. Otherwise, he will meow nonstop until we put food
in there (whether he is actually hungry or not!) He bullies Zoe,
especially when he knows she doesn't want to play. He likes to jump
on our backs whenever he get the chance...like when we're brushing
our teeth! Who needs children?!
