I
ended up getting Happy from my mom and dad. They had adopted her from a
little girl who was standing outside the public library giving all of her
cat's kittens away. My mom couldn't resist, so she got Happy for me.
Happy is just tons of fun to play with!! I've had her since I was eight years
old... so basically, I've grown up with her. She is my family. I love her to
pieces! She's also one of the most loyal cats I know. When I come home, I
usually come home pretty late. She'll sit outside underneath my mom's van and
wait for me to come home. And when I arrive, she follows me into the house
and right into my bed. :) Happy's favorite things to do are sleep (haha! What
cat doesn't?), and play with yarn or my ex-shoelaces, scratch her scratching
pole, and play with her stuffed mouse. Her absolute favorite thing to do
is... when I tie the stuffed mouse on the end of a long shoestring and run
around the house with it dragging on the ground, she goes hog wild!! She
loves to chase it like a real mouse! She also loves to climb our roof and
"knock" on my window (well, claw the crap out of the screen) to let me know
she wants to get inside. What ever happened to using the kitty door? :) A
word of caution though... be careful when you play with her!! She gets
vicious! She'll claw your toes if they get in her way! But I promise,
underneath her shiny gray coat, she is a complete angel! :)
