Our
cat's name is Penny and as you can see, she is really just a
sweet little kitten. Can you imagine someone abandoning this
wonderful little creature who was found by my wife while walking one
morning? We tried unsuccessfully to find her owners and happily took
this little girl kitten into our family. She shares her petly duties
with another seven year older sister and they get along very well
romping and playing all the time. Penny was about ten weeks old when
the photo was made and is now about fifteen weeks old and will soon
visit the vet to be neutered. My wife and I had forgotten how much
fun a kitten could be. She plays with her pet mouse every morning and
loves to chase "Da Bird" around the den. Her antics bring
great joy to us and in her quieter moments, she loves the security of
our laps to snooze and purr loudly. She also likes to play
"ambush" pawing at us from under a bed as we walk by or
hiding on the stairs waiting to "attack" as we pass. Penny
got her name from the copper colored "shawl" around her
neck and on other parts of her body. But don't let her name fool you!
We wouldn't take a million dollars for our new found girl kitten and
watching her grow and develop into a mature cat will indeed be a very
special experience for us.
