This
is Casper. I found Casper at an animal shelter. He was
picked up by animal control as a stray. Boy, was he a mess. He was very
thin (hard to believe from this picture) and full of mats. When I looked
into his big copper eyes and his sweet face it was love at first sight!
From the moment I brought him home he fit right in with the other cats.
He has the sweetest, gentlest nature (thus his name) and always wants to
be noticed and admired. Maybe that's why he enjoys cat shows so much. I
show him as a household pet and he loves the attention and the
admiration from his "subjects". He's a real prince. He's well
loved. I recently brought home a three month old kitten and Casper was
the first to welcome him and is the kitten's babysitter during the day
and makes sure the other cats (who are a little more reserved) don't
give him a hard time. So now we call him "Uncle Casper."
