I
found Freckles at the Oregon Humane Society in 1993 and she's been a
joy ever since. Freckles - that was her name in her previous life and
fits her perfectly, is very loving and purrs constantly. It takes two
people when her claws are trimmed, but she purrs then, too. She's
strictly an indoor cat, but has lots of window perches so she can keep
up with outside activities. Freckles is special because she's sweet
natured, makes friends easily, and calm. When I found her in this self
pose, I hurried for my camera and pleased she stayed put long enough for
