As
with any other pet owner, we are pretty confident Puffy's the
cutest animal around, or at least the cutest feline creature, or at
the very least the cutest Chinchilla Persian. I mean, just look at her
face for one thing. I've seen a number of Chinchillas and they all
seem to have flattish, indented foreheads and noses, whereas the
inimitable Puffy has a high-bridged, petite nose with a more rounded
forehead. Well, the photo speaks for itself.
But although Puffy is model material, she hates to be held or kissed,
and doesn't even like being approached too closely by humans, although
when she was younger she was a bit more amenable. But come hungry time
or time to be let out into our small yard, she'll jump up
dolphin-style trying to rub her head against the nearest human.
Puffy's quite the jumper, too. We've gotten her to jump up
quite high into the air (well over a meter) when playing keep away
using her favorite furry mouse toy. Quite a humorous sight when such a
gorgeous Chinchilla forgets all decency and decorum just to catch a
little mouse.
Favorite pastime: Chasing butterflies outside, or playing with furry
mouse toy. Loves snow.
Quirks: Very much prefers hand feeding. Tends to stand in front of the
bowl until somebody will feed her directly by hand. Very sloppy
drinker. Most tends to fly outward from the bowl.
