My
husband and I picked out Cola, and her sister Spanky at a local
animal shelter. As Cola has matured she has grown to be the queen of
Aspenweed Way, or at least that's what she thinks Cola went through two
traumatic episodes in her life. Her father and I adopted another furry
friend named Playa. Cola held a grudge against us for about six months.
It's been several years later, the grudge is gone, and now she just
terrorizes Playa weekly. Cola is always first to meet us at her throne,
which over looks the territory she rules. Cola's second traumatic event
was the loss of her friend Bob. Bob was our roommate of three years, and
Cola's first love.In the morning she would wait at least 30 seconds,
before meowing profusely to say hello in person. Cola was also very
alert to the sound of his alarm in the morning, and car driving up in
the evening. Cola has gotten over Bob moving into his own home, but
always has to give him a bit of the cold shoulder when he visits. She
is one of the most loving cats, never bites, scratches or snarls. Well,
we can't speak for Playa!
