My
boyfriend and I adopted Sugarberry from our vet, who had rescued her
and her two brothers from a local shelter. She was seven months old when we
adopted her, and she had apparently been fed very well because she's a
little on the chubby side - let's call it "baby fat". Sugarberry is one
of the sweetest and most affectionate kitties I have ever met. She purrs
constantly and loves to have her tummy rubbed. She got her name from a
street in our neighborhood. Several months ago, I saw "Sugarberry"
street and decided that sounded like a cute name for a cat - that would
be the name for my next cat if and when I got one. Sugarberry is the
newest addition to our household - we also have two other cats (a male
Maine Coon and a female Himalayan) and a female St. Bernard. They are
all the best of friends!
