Hi!
My name is Samantha and I am six months old in this picture. Mom
took me to the Kauai Humane Society for "Santa Paws" pictures. I'm very
spoiled and boss two older cats around all the time. They are my
adopted brothers. When it gets cold, we all snuggle up to mom and make
it a "3 Cat Night".
Samantha is true to her Ragdoll breed--a laid back cat. She will let
you hold her upside down like a baby and has the loudest purr of any cat
I have ever owned. She also has a lot of energy and runs the length of
the house back and forth playing with the other cats. She loves to play
with little furry mice & carries them all over the house, ending up
depositing them in the food bowl for safekeeping. Fortunately, my cats
only eat dry food.
Samantha is also very smart. Her adopted brothers waited until they got
big enough to jump from the floor to the counter in one leap to do it.
She figured out that if she goes around the back of the counter, there
is a chair there & she was able to get up onto the counter by the time I
had her for two weeks. She learned her name the first day I brought her
home. She also learned how to climb onto my bed the first day, as she
wasn't big enough to jump up.
