Here
is "Tater The Insane, The Cat Without A Brain." He is
the dumbest cat I have ever known, but he is also the most
affectionate. I found him while driving along a road that crosses the
artillery training area on the local military base. There are no
people living within ten miles, so I don't know where he came from. I
stopped and picked him up and learned to drive while being licked in
the face. He got his name because he is a potato-head, no sense at
all. But he has never shown a hint of meanness toward another living
creature. Anyone who sees him go into "loving-mode"
eventually starts laughing. If you stay still long enough for him to
jump up, you will receive endless licks and nose rubs. When your
skin starts getting sore and you turn him around so he can't lick it,
he will lick your clothes. When they start getting wet and you turn
him again, he will lick the chair. If you hold his head so he can't
lick anything, he will lick thin air. He licks my other cats until
they swat him and hide to dry off. Eat, sleep, and love. That's life
according to Tater.
