My
cat, Galinette, turned eight in October. She is the most nervous
cat in the universe. She hides under the bed at the drop of a hat, or
a sneeze, or a cough... she only started letting me touch her in the
last six months. Up until that point, I had to settle for her rubbing
on my leg the odd time. My mother says I'd get more comfort from a pet
rattlesnake. Gali is also a vegetarian!! I've offered her every
possible kind of meat, but she only likes her dry food, cat grass and
yogurt (any kind of yogurt, especially fruity ones). The photo was
taken while she was begging for some yogurt. If you don't feed it to
her when she wants it, she'll grab your hand with her paw, dig
in her claws and pull the spoon towards her. Her name comes from a
French film "Jean de Florette." She had a mate, Gaston, but
he died almost five years ago.
