This
is my kitten Frieda. She was dropped at the SPCA where my mom works
when she was only a few hours old. Her mother was in labour and in
trouble and the owner didn't want to deal with it, so they left her and
three kittens in a box on the doorstep. The mom cat had to have an
emergency surgery where she lost the last three kittens due to
complications. Mom and babies couldn't stay at the shelter because they
were too young, so we brought them home to foster until they were old
enough to adopt to homes.
I loved this one little kitten from the first day I saw her. And when it
came time to send everyone back for adoption, my mom said that we could
keep one. So I picked Frieda and she's now my best friend. She is very
affectionate and likes to be cuddled. She especially likes her belly
rubbed. She really loves to have a piece of fresh catnip from our
garden. After which she goes a little crazy running around the house and
up the walls. She comes when she's called and when you shake her treat
can. She likes to play tag with me and we chase each other around the
house. Another favorite game for her is to attack feet under the covers.
