Misty
is very special to us. She helped us at a very trying time. We had
lost a thirteen and half year old precious cat named Samantha that I thought
nothing could take her place. There was such a void in our lives we
decided to get another pet. We found this family that had a beautiful
litter of kittens and Misty was among them. I had gotten so misty-eyed
seeing these babies when we picked Misty, out that is why and how she got
her name. She took the void out of my life that I thought was always
going to be there. She is a great joy. She had to walk in pretty tough
paws to follow but she won our hearts. She is the love of our lives.
When we first met Misty she was in a clothes basket with her siblings.
There were six of them. She climbed on my husband's lap and she was
ours. To this day she loves clothes baskets. Misty is a very independent
little girl. When I was sick she knew and would not leave my side. She
is very affectionate to me. She loves to play with her toys. She moves
them all over the house. She loves milk bottle rings. When she is
hungry she has a different meow, when she wonders where we're at and
cannot find us she cries for us till we say something to her. Knowing
her different cries I know what she wants. It is just like having a
human child. She is so sweet!! Everyone loves her.
