This
is Ralphie. He is an American Shorthair polydactyl with six claws on
each of his front paws and four each on the back. His front paws are huge
and he has a great "handshake." He is a bit aloof, but he jumps up on
the back of my recliner to greet me when I come home every day, and
tolerates me hugging him all the time. Ralphie is a lone lion and
lives indoors, but he seems to make the best of it. He loves to play
fetch with soda bottle tops, which I hit to him with a badminton racket.
They make a lot of noise and get him excited. Sometimes, he'll jump into
the empty bathtub with a bottle cap and have a one-cat hockey game. You
can hear it all over the house! Ralphie keeps things pretty interesting around here!
