Earl
(the Pearl) is one of a kind, even amongst cats! He is loud, bold,
determined - and harmless. His antics keep our other cats on their paws
(toes?). He certainly does not act his age, rather he remains our feline
toddler. It took Earl a long time to settle, after wandering into to
Judy's home, covered in dusty red clay. Turns out he's really a white
cat! When Judy married Peter we had to do it all over again as Earl
adjusted to Peter's cats. Now he is one of the cat crowd, the other
cats have learned to ignore him. Just loud and harmless, that's our Earl
The Pearl!
This summer, Earl's health had taken a turn for the worse, and was
thought to be dying. But Earl is better off than we thought. After a
double cavity ultrasound exam it has been determined that the heart
murmur is benign! He still needs regular check ups as this condition
could worsen, but he does not seem to be in peril as we first thought.
We are very glad, and hope to have him around for a long time to come!
