This
beautiful, precious boy began appearing on my front porch -
snatching mouthfuls of cat food and running away when I would feed my four
other cats. He wouldn't let me touch him for months!! When I tried to
pick him up or pet him he would "huff" at me - hence his name. He was
very apprehensive. Turns out he lived nearby, but was looking for a new
home. His owner had a young son who was allergic to cats & Huff had to
stay alone in a small building behind her house. He was lonely and
wanted to be a house/garden cat again. He slept under the flowers out
back before he figured out my cat door. She and I agreed to my adoption
of her beloved kitty and she comes to visit us. I credit her with his
wonderful disposition and love for people. Huffy is the absolute
sweetest! He knows when I am sad or upset and climbs on my lap to
comfort me. He also loves to be on my lap when I'm at the computer - he
taps the keyboard. He is so docile and the rest of my cats absolutely
love him. What a joy to be selected by him as his adoptive mother.
