This
is Birdie. I rescued her from our local Humane Society, along with her
brother, Bogie, when they were nine weeks old. Unfortunately, he died
when they were five months old from a terminal kitty disease. She seemed
to miss him terribly and proceeded to destroy things in my house,
including one of my shoes! I have since adopted two more little girls,
Kleo and Cricket, who she has adopted as her own kittens.
She now spends her days lazing around the house with her 'babies' and
entertaining me. She always seems to know how I am feeling. If I'm
feeling rowdy, she will play for hours, but if I'm feel down or sad, she
will jump on my lap and put her paws on my face as if the say, I know
you need someone who understands. She never lets me down!
