This
is our Miss Ginger. She is tortoiseshell cat that just turned one
year old this May. Ginger, otherwise know as Gin-Gin or Princess was
born to a domesticated cat that was living in the "wild". She was hand
raised by a good friend from approximately three weeks of age.
Her favorite toys are milk rings and corn husks. I was making soup
from fresh corn and of course Ginger had to see what was up (she less
than six months old at this point) and was not getting my soup made very
quickly so... I threw one of the husks on the floor and the rest is
history. She trotted off with it in her mouth just like she had caught
her first mouse. It's been a favorite ever since.
Attached are just two of the many pictures taken of Ginger since I own
a digital camera. It's been great to document all of those precious
kitten moments. Now I look forward to capturing all those grown-up cat
moments, too!
