Sophia
is a beautiful, elegant, graceful, gentle, kind and special cat.
She is a fourteen-year-old, sixteen-pound cat. I got her from her previous owner
when she was four years old and her name was Patrice. The name Patrice
didn't seem to fit her, so I renamed her Sophia.
Sophia loves to follow us everywhere in the house. She loves to sleep
with her "daddy" on the couch and to lay next to her "mommy" on the bed.
She is always wanting to please us.
Sophie was very welcoming when we brought in her sister, Bosco, who was
a stray. There was never any confrontation and she was very happy to
have a buddy. The two cats get along great. Sophia has 4 cockatiel friends
and she patiently waits while they walk past her when she's laying on
the floor. The birds have landed on her a couple of times, accidentally,
and she's more freaked out than the birds are! The birds know that she
won't hurt them and love to greet her when they see her with a whistle.
It's cute because Sophia loves to sit on the computer desk and be loved
while we're on the computer. The birds will often come over, look at
Sophia and just start whistling at her. It's funny because the birds
don't have the same trust with our other cat Bosco. Sophia is a great
cat who has brought us many years of joy. We love our little Sophia!
