Let
me introduce you to Zelda. Zelda's special because she's very brave.
She came to us at seven weeks when my mother brought her home. Someone
had left her in a box, outside my mother's office - although she was
afraid of us, when we dangled a string in front of her, completely
forgot her fear and started pouncing away!
She's also very communicative. One day, I took a little break from
playing with her to get ready for work. She was on the bed and my back
was turned to her as I was putting on my earrings. I felt two taps on my
back and when I turned around, Zelda was putting her paw down as she
stepped back and lifting her chin as if to say, 'Let's go!'. I'll never
forget it! Also, every morning, she jumps on the bed with a good
morning 'chirp' and let's me pet her for a few minutes before she's off
and running to attack the day. She makes us smile with our hearts and
we're so grateful she's in our lives.
