This
is Yevgeniy, a two-year-old russian blue. He literally walked in the
door one day and adopted us as his humans, and has been with us ever
since. Yevgeniy's little quirk is that he will only drink running water
(like out of a tap) and will refuse water in a bowl, even if he's just
watched you pour fresh water in it.
He's the most relaxed and fearless cat I have ever met. He loves meeting
new people. He enjoys eating the occasional house plant, even though
they make him throw up immediately afterward. His favorite food is tuna,
which makes him so excited that his tail puffs up when he knows he's
getting some. He is a very happy cat, but for some reason he is
completely unable to purr. I wonder if that is true of Russian Blue cats
in general? Yevgeniy always sleeps with his people and if it's getting
late and he thinks its bedtime, he will attempt to herd you into the
bedroom so he can go to sleep.
