Harley
and Finnigan are brothers born March 1st, 2001. They were born
under an old house in the cold month of March. Their mother took such
good care of them, she had been living under the house all winter after
having gotten lost in one of the many storms, it was one of the worst
winters in a long time. People living in the house were giving her food,
but they weren't staying there long, so tried to find a home for her.
When I heard about all this it was just one cat. I had just lost one of
my three cats, to illness (she was fourteen years old.) So said I would take
her. Then found out there were two more!! So now we have five cats.
There are so many things that make them special, Harley is a big baby
and trusts us like no other cat I have known. He will ride in my little
wheel barrel, when I use it to carry plants back and forth, I can carry
him downstairs in the laundry basket and he won't jump out. When I have
toast and jam they both have to have a strawberry for breakfast.
Finnigan likes to be picked up a lot and if he is upstairs he will cry
for someone to go up and carry him down. When he wants to be picked up
he goes to "dad" and stretches his paws up to him, he bends down and
tells Finnigan to lift his back leg and place it in his hand and then he
will pick him up. They both pick on the two older cats and Harley will
sneak up on them when they are sleeping and put his paw out as to touch
them then draws it back if they move, he will continue until he actually
touches them and they wake up. They love to play with their toys and
with each other.
