Mrs.
K lives in Merritt Island Florida and is a standard domestic
shorthair (otherwise known as an alley cat). She's special because even
though we are a little late with her meals sometimes, she forgives us
and allows to continue living in her house.
She choose us, not vise versa. She was dumped in the neighborhood as a
kitten. Mrs K is hyperactive and attracted to men. Her first choice as a
home was with a neighbor where she shunned the wife and daughter and
followed the husband and son everywhere. When they moved from the
neighborhood, we took care of her and she follows me around and avoids
my wife even though she feeds her and tries hard to be accepted by her.
Her favorite trick is to walk through the front door, jump up on a
chair, fly across the room to an end table, vault to the kitchen table,
leap to the kitchen counter and out the kitchen window. One end of the
house to the other and no feet ever touch the floor. Both our cats get
very affectionate when the weather is cold or wet. None of that roughing
it for her. She left that life behind.
