My
name is Foster and I am a rambunctious one-year old. My boy, Tom,
adopted me from Operation Kindness in Carrollton (one of the only
no-kill shelters in the DFW) and I couldn't be happier. Sure I had lots
of friends and toys to play with at the shelter, but the minute I saw
Tom walk into the room I immediately went over to him and curled up on
his lap.
As you can see from my photo I have a fluffy tail, it's so fluffy that I
wander around the apartment and use it as a duster. I also like to
flick my tail in my boy's face to get him up in the morning - so he can
feed me of course. I have an older sister, Phoebe, and I like to pounce
on her and play. She doesn't like it so much, but what does she expect,
I'm an energized one-year old who loves to play.
I've got quirky habits that everyone finds adorable. I love to drink
water, although not always out of my bowl. I like the water coming out
the sink or the water left in the bottom of the shower. But my favorite
kind of drink is a glass of cold bottled water. I can stick my whole
head in a glass and drink it dry. My favorite, though, is to ride in
the car with my boy (just as long as it's not a trip to the vet). I sit
in his lap and look out the window or I like to sit in the passenger's
seat and look out with my paws on the armrest, like a dog.
