We
have had Splat since she was a
baby. As soon as we saw how friendly she was towards us and her
beautiful, painterly markings - we knew she was the one we wanted to
bring home. That's also how she got her name.
She is very chatty and will let you know when she needs more food or
wants attention. She is very affectionate and loves to knead on us at
night when we are trying to sleep. She also sits on the pillow above my
husband's head and tries to groom his hair.
She is not too friendly with other cats or people that come to visit. We
have another cat Pepper and the two don't really get along. She is
getting used to the other "human" in our house which is our
three-year-old son. He likes to get right up close to her and try to pet
her but she usually scatters off before he gets a chance. He thinks this
is funny and he giggles when she does it.
The excitement in her life consists of fighting with Pepper and trying
to scare other cats that come to visit on the outside ledge of our
window from the inside.
She is very cute and we love her very much.
