Hi,
my name is Squiggly. I was actually christened as Miss Piggy when I
was a kitten because I always hogged the food. Then over the years I
became known as Piggly but my behavior didn't improve and whenever
there was food around I was a bit naughty. One day my owner came home to
find some food he'd left on the table scattered all over the floor (well
I had trouble getting it out of the packets!). So he said it was going
to be a one way trip to the vet...
Luckily, his kind sister took me in with the words "How bad could a cat
be?". After a week of me squeaking at the top of my voice, she renamed
my to Squiggly. One night she had friends over and they were sitting at
the table eating pizza and I decided to join them. So I jumped up onto
the table, landed in the pizza, the box slid along the table and knocked
their drinks into their laps. After that I was known as the Cat from Hell.
We now have a happy truce - don't leave the bread on the table or I'll
eat it through the plastic; don't put out the cakes before the guests
arrive or I'll drag them onto the floor and eat them; and never, ever
defrost the meat on the sink... it's taken some time, but I believe I've
finally got them trained.
