About Us
Marlow, the Cat of the Day
Name: Marlow
Age: Six years old
Gender: Male
Kind: Domestic Long Hair
Home: Glasgow, Scotland, UK

This is my adorable orange tabby, Marlow. I found him at the local animal shelter in Fort Worth, Texas, the only one of his litter left. I had always wanted an orange kitty because so many I had met were very laid back and friendly. Not the case with Mr. Marlow! He loves his mom, but tends to hide from strangers and is most scared of his grandpa (who only has to look at him and quietly say "boo," which promptly sends him scampering)! Despite his timidness with humans, he is quite ferocious with other cats. He had to live with Grandma and Grandpa for seven months before he could move to the UK, and he absolutely terrorized their two cats. He and his brother Homer had to be separated from the girls at all times!

He is a Mama's Boy and brings me great delight. I am so glad he has moved over to be with me while I am in Scotland! He will let me hold him like a baby and stays close by at all times. He loves to play fetch with his array of mice and balls. He is only happy when his toys are scattered all around the house! He has a very unique purr ... or absence of one I should say. He tends to grunt more than anything! He is my very special boy and I love him dearly!
