When
I got Max, it was two days before my birthday. We went to where my
mom works, an animal hospital, to see if my grandparents' dog was sick.
I wanted to just go look at the pets up for adoption. I went in there
and I asked my mom if I could hold this kitten. She said yes, and when
I picked him up, he just clawed onto my shirt and wouldn't let go. I
knew that moment that I had to take him home. There were already a lot
of people who wanted to adopt Max, but the people at my mom's work said
that we could adopt him. I was sooo happy! Max was my early
birthday present.
Max is a very good cat most of the time, he always snuggles up next to
you when you are awake, but when you are asleep all he does is bug you
to wake up and play. One day we were having a garage sale and my dad
was in the basement getting more toys to sell. He thought there was
just one of those little toy snakes on the ground. He bent down to pick
it up and it started to move. Apparently Max had caught it and brought
it inside for us! Max is such a special cat and my family and I
love him so much!
