Char
was incredibly adorable. This spring, Char died from leukemia.
Although his life was short, the time that we had share was filled with
pleasure and comfort. I liked his innocent round eyes and feeble sweet
voice, which were disproportionate to the giant body. Whenever I tried
to scold him for his mischief, he always ran up to me with his long tail
upright, instead of being frightened away. It was impossible for me to be
angry at him, and he knew it. Most of the time, he stayed a good boy
anyway.
Char was an early riser, but waited quietly by my bedside until I
woke up. He used to give me a kiss when I came home. At night, he
loved to sleep clinging to my chest. Char was a 100% mom's boy. My
husband got jealous and had to ask either of us, "Why not me?" all the
time! Since I lost Char, I have cried, cried, and cried my heart out.
Then, I hope for reincarnation. If he could have his time over again, I
wish that he will come straight back to my arms.
