This
is my cat Aurora - formal name "Auroradeprincess of
Nair-lee-naked." I was never a fan of cats, but my eight-year-old
daughter has always wanted one but she is allergic. I met someone who
had a Sphynx and after a few visits, we discovered that the Sphynx
didn't effect her allergies at all. Right then I set out on my quest to
find a Sphynx and within a few months we had one of our very own. My
daughter named her Aurora, after Sleeping Beauty. We have had her for two
years and I couldn't even begin to imagine life without her. She has
definitely changed my opinion of the species. Most of the time, she is
sits in my lap and purrs a beautiful tune for me. When I am moving about
the house, she makes every step I make. She has become my most faithful
companion. The Sphynx breed is like a potato chip... You can't own just
one! So, we are getting another one in just a few days! I thank the Lord
everyday for this breed. What they lack in fur, they definitely make up
for it in purr.
