Hi,
my name is Monty. I have now been living with my new mummy for
four weeks now. It was a bit strange at first leaving my old home, but
hey, I soon settled in and showed them all who's boss! My best friend
is Jake - Mummy says he will be one year old in May and my next best pal
is Puschka (she is a bit exotic being a British lilac point - but she is
not snobby at all). We chase each other up and down the stairs and it
is great fun. There's also Auntie Lulu who is really bad tempered, so
I tend to avoid her! Uncle Oscar spends all his time parading up and
down the street - Mummy says it is because we live opposite a school and
he likes the children to know he lost his leg because he didn't look
before he crossed the road. She says that is why I can't go out yet.
Finally is Uncle Pixie - he is very quiet, but awfully nice except for
his tendency to drool in mummy's ear first thing in the morning.
We also share a house with two other strange creatures which get taken
out on a lead every day. Mummy says they are dogs and not at all as
clever as we cats are.
Mummy is besotted with me. She takes pictures of me every day, so I
have to sit and pose! Not that I mind, after all, let's face it I am
the Brad Pitt of the cat world (not that I'm modest or anything). She
keeps kissing me all the time and says I am beautiful. I sit on her
lap when she is doing jigsaws and when I try to swat the pieces she just
picks me up, kisses me and says "what a little hooligan you are". I
love it here.
