This
is our cat Willow. She is a very special cat. We believe that she
is a Norwegian Forest cat. That breed is typified by being somewhat
aloof and yet warm and affectionate at the same time. This photo was
taken in our garden by the walkway leading to our house where she
regularly reclines to wait for visitors.
Whenever she sees me come home after a day at the office, she gets up
and does a somersault on the long drive and then talks to me. When she
was younger, she would do her driveway somersault with such gusto that
she would do two or three somersaults in a row. She is a beautiful
member of our family and gets along famously with our two black cats,
Slater and Turq (a.k.a. the Raptors, two - two-year-old brothers) and
our twelve-year-old dog Toby.
We currently live in Ventura, California and are anxiously awaiting our
move to the Washington State area in the not too distant future.
