Bailey
is special because she is Bailey. She was adopted from a barn
when she was five/six weeks old. She is an only cat for the first time
in her life - having lost our younger cat to diabetes last spring.
She's endured living with two neurotic cats and is now enjoying the
senior years in peace. Bailey lost her sight last year but still gets
around the house and enjoys supervised visits to the outdoors for a bite
of grass. She's been a wonderful friend for twenty years and I hope to
have a few more with her.
She's pretty quiet now (at her age)! She is a very affectionate cat -
loves to be held and petted. She used to be really curious - loved
packages... but since she can't see anymore, it is a lot harder for her.
She still likes to explore - she does sometimes get "lost" but always
finds her way back to her chair with steps to reach her heated bed.
