Emma
is a two-year-old girl, and since Hurricane Katrina we have been
living in Kingsport, Tennessee. We adopted Emma from Petsmart, she was
too frightened in the display cage so they had her in small dark pet
carrier, I peeked in and she touched her nose to mine & looked into my
eyes and we adopted her sight unseen.
When we evacuated from New Orleans for Hurricane Katrina, we were
worried about how she would react to the thirteen-hour ride. We needn't have
worried - she was an angel (as always). She seems to understand what we
tell her, so we explain everything. She never seems stressed out and
will curl up on the lap of any cat person that comes to visit. She is
part of our family we could not love our sweet kitty more!
