Little
Miss Nyla entered my life this summer (2005). I had been working
at the local Humane Society in the cat room, and I saw that this little
grey fluffball was being bullied around by the two much larger kittens
in her cage. She wasn't getting any food or water, and, having been
separated from her mother too soon, was barely holding on to life. I
thought I'd take her home and at least let her be happy for awhile, and
give her the comfort and love she deserved. This is, of course, her baby
picture. Surprisingly, she managed to hold on to life and she won the
battle! She's the sweetest little kitty ever, and we're so happy that
she is a healthy, beautiful addition to the family, even if she likes to
claw the couch now that she feels good.
