Abby
came to us as a wee little foster kitten. I knew from the moment
she walked in that she'd never walk back out. Oh the way she looked at
me; it was so intense and loving. She'd cry for me when she didn't know
where I was, and I cried the day I dropped her off at her first adoption
event. I knew I could never let her go. So she stayed and to this day
she looks at me with those eyes, and I melt.
Abby is my little girl with a big personality. She isn't afraid to make
her voice heard or her opinions known. She is my lap cat, my nap buddy,
my computer helper all rolled into a six-pound body. I smile just to see
her, and she comes running when she hears my voice.
For such a tiny girl, she sure can push around her big brothers (she's
six pounds, they are all thirteen to twenty pounds!) and she can eat
more than any of them combined. If I can't find her, a simple shake of
the cup with treats has her running from whatever hidey-hole she found.
Then she looks at me with those eyes and eats each treat, as it's
individually hand fed to her.
Abby has my heart wrapped around her little paws. That's ok, I wouldn't
have it any other way.
