Leelee
is a beautiful blue russian who has more personality than any pet
I've had the pleasure of knowing. One of her most adorable (and noticeable)
qualities is her voice. She has been known to talk for nearly an hour
non-stop to her "Mommy" (my wife) just to make her feelings known about a
particular issue. Her least favorite activity is when the dishwasher is
being unloaded; this sets her off into a frenzy where she paces around the
living room making a constant "ma, ma, ma, ma" sound until you stop.
She loves to be included in projects. If she thinks you are using
something, she will lay on it. She has been known to act as a bookmark in
her mommy's calculus book. She also fancies camping, although she's never
been outside. She finds ways to burrow under anything that will make her
feel like she is in a tent. Her mommy has gone as far as to make her a tent
on the couch for her to "camp" in while we're at work.
Leelee is both a "lover" and a "fighter". She is very attached to her
parents and has a hard time warming up to visitors (unless they have food).
She is pretty sure she runs the house and likes to boss everyone around.
When no one is looking, she is the most cuddly thing you'll ever see. But
if there is an audience, she feels she needs to uphold her "tough stuff"
image.
She never ceases to entertain us and brings much happiness to our lives. I
wouldn't change her for the world.
