Her
nickname is Silly Lily because she is just that. She is a grey fur
ball of endless energy. Always wants to play, day or night. She lives
with my husband, son and I along with our seventeen-year-old Silver
Chinchilla Persian, Sterling. Lily continually tries to harass Sterling
into playing with her. Sadly he knows he can't keep up with her, but
just like the rest of us, he's quite content to sit back and be amused
by her antics.
Although Lily is a cat, she has more of dog-like traits. She loves to
fetch paper balls. She's not a lap cat, but prefers to lay contently at
your feet. Lily also loves to follow us around. She must know where
everyone is and what they are doing at all times. We often feel as if
she's the keeper of the house. When all of us are home, she'll situate
herself in an area where she can keep her eye on all of us with just a
quick turn of the head.
As much as she loves to run and play, Lily will stop in the middle of
whatever she is doing to enjoy having her tummy rubbed or be showered
with kitty kisses. We love our little Silly Lily.
