I
went with my Mom to our local shelter so that she could adopt her
second cat. Well, anyone who knows me, knows it is very unlikely that I'll
go into a shelter without bringing something home. As Mom was looking
around, I happened to hear this really high-pitched meow. I turned around
and there were the most beautiful, big blue eyes I had ever seen in my life!
Here was this beautiful cat, who look like he was a Siamese cross, rubbing
at the cage, just begging for my attention. I went over and picked him up
and it was love at first sight. He kept headbutting me, and purring and of
course I started crying thinking this beautiful creature had to be locked
up. So, what I did was signed the adoption papers right there, without even
telling my husband!
After having many people telling me so, and researching the breed
online, we found out Imhotep is a Snowshoe which is a breed that is still
not well known. He is such a wonderful cat who loves a good lap and never
fails to make me smile with his antics. I love him very much!
