This
is our family cat Tia, who my mom and I appropriately call "the
Queen". She is very playful and romps around the living room speeding
past your feet before you even have time to think you're going to step
on her. She likes to arch her back and her tail, then side-step towards
or away from you first by slightly rearing up then moving her back feet
to follow. We have no idea of what reason she does this for (maybe play
because that is usually the situation that causes it) but my sister has
named it her scuttle which makes us laugh each time she does it.
Having an absolute love for catching bugs and things on the walls and
ceiling is no help to the walls because she likes to scratch holes in
the drywall even at unmoving things. When we show her a real spider or
fly she chases it if she can reach and meows at it if she can't. At
night she remembers all of the places she has seen an insect and runs to
them and meows at nothing. Her favorite place to sleep is under a
blanket on my dad's chair where she can tuck herself in. If you take the
blanket off of her she will look at your and meow until you put it back.
When we finally do, she purrs.
This wonderful fluffball brings life to the dreariest days and we always
look forward to what she will do next. She gets more attention from my
mom than I, and so will remain our Queen forever!
