Quentin, the Cat of the Day
Name: Quentin
Age: Fifteen years old
Gender: Male
Kind: Cat
Home: Oak Harbor, Washington, USA

Hi. My name is Quentin. Some people call me Q the cat, but that's Mr. Sir Quentin to you. Haven't your parents taught you to respect your elders? It's called common courtesy. Anyway, this is my life's story:

I was picked up out of a litter of kittens September 1990 in front of a Safe Way parking lot by my owners Parents. I guess they intended to keep me, but it didn't last very long because they soon found out after that their Mom was allergic to cats. Well, long story short. My real owners came back from their honey moon to find their parents quite ready to give me to them.

I had a sister too, her name was Bonnie. Ands of course she came with me. But sadly she had to be put down when she was a couple years old due to some bad stuff in her bones.

I have lived with my owners as long as I have lived, I have watched as 6 kids popped up out of nowhere. My buddy, John the Chocolate Lab passed away at the age of twelve in 2003, and another pest was taken in, a Jack Russell to be exact, and guess what? She multiplied! They sold all but one of her babies, and now there are two. )0:

I hardly get any time alone to myself. Maybe 5 hours of napping, 3 of sunbathing, 1 of eating my canned cat food, and about 2 of drinking out of the toilet. And would you believe it? All of the kids and dogs take up a whole Thirty Minutes of my beautiful day! I am so deprived of sleep, it's not even funny!

Speaking of sleep, when I do get my small share, I transit from one place to another. Sometimes I sleep with the kids, sometimes I sleep in my mommy's bathroom, sometimes I sleep in a abandoned laundry pile, (which Mommy doesn't like very much.) and sometimes (if the dogs are sleeping with the kids) I sneak into the dogs kennel with all of the fluffy rags and soft torn up pillows.

My favorite food is (it always has to be canned) "Nine Lives, Tender Chicken Slices in Gravy". Just the thought of it makes me drool.
