Chloe
came into my life when she was just a tiny kitten. I worked at a
pet shop in California and people were always bringing in stray animals
for us to find homes for. Chloe was brought in by a woman who had found
her on the street. She was tiny and very skinny and also had a major
attitude. She was covered in fleas and hissed at everything. The owner
of the shop said he wouldn't take her because of her attitude. The woman
had no choice but to leave her in front of our store for someone to take
pity on. That someone was me. I took her home at the end of the day when
no one else had. Once she was fed, bathed and defleaed, she warmed up
very quickly.
She moved up to Washington with me last year. She loves to curl up on
your lap an purr for hours. And if you don't have a lap for her, she
will make one! She plays fetch with hair rubber bands, she can chase
them for hours. She is a very spoiled cat, with her own large scratching
post and a different collar for each month!
She came into my life very unexpectedly and I couldn't have asked for a
better cat. She means the world to me.
