This
gorgeous boy is William. We originally adopted him from a local
shelter. He was so scared but we were able to talk him out of the cage
they had him in. He came home with us and hid under the couch for two
hours. After he came out he was in charge of things and has been ever
since then and that was seven years ago!
He is the neatest cat you could ever want to meet. He is not aloof or
anything like the stereotype you hear about most cats. He doesn't hide
when strangers come into the house. He is alpha over our two Shelties,
Mali and Cooper, and they know it..but then he is alpha over my husband
and I and we know (and don't mind it).
William loves to explore in our backyard looking for birds or other
creatures of interest. He never gets to go out except in the backyard
when we are out there with him. He most definitely does not get to go
out in the front and explore. We want to make sure we keep our baby
safe. (Shhh...don't anyone tell him we called him our baby...lol)
William loves all things that start with a "b" - such as boxes, bugs,
blankets, baconfish (treats - it's a long story), and birds. His
favorite would have to be boxes. You cannot bring a box around this boy
without him not getting into it. We recently bought a laptop computer
and he has claimed the box as his own! He also loves to sleep in a boot
box that my husband gave him. Never mind the bed that we bought for
him...oh, no...it's the boot box for sure.
As you can see, we love our William very much. He has added so much joy
and love to our lives and we hope we give it right back to him. We hope
that all of you enjoy seeing our gorgeous boy and that seeing him will
brighten your day as he brightens each day of our lives!
