Hi
there. My name is Roy, LeRoy, Lawrence, take your pick. I am
approximately a year and a half old. I'm what's known as a cat. I live
in Burlington, Ontario, but was born in Peterboro, Ontario. I live with
my Dad and Mom and my dog, Maxie, who is an Australian Shepherd. I love
to chase her and pretend she is Trigger and I'm Roy Rogers jumping on
her back. I keep missing, but you know what they say "practice makes
perfect".
I came to live in Burlington on Super Bowl Sunday, 2005. I had no idea
my people were going to welcome me with a party and all those people !
No presents though, go figure. I love to play unroll the toilet paper
till I'm bored, get caught, or run out of paper. (Note to self - stop
running through the house with it in my mouth). I used to go on road
trips to Peterboro, but Auntie has six cats and two dogs and when we get
there, I'm not the center of attention so I've decided to stay home when
the family goes visiting. As you can see from my picture, I'm protecting
the ladder till Dad comes back. I help him a lot when he's fixing
things. When Mom sews I sleep on the fabric to keep it from falling on
the floor, although sometimes she has to move me a lot. I love to play
hide and seek in the bathtub and jump at the first person to find me. I
love my forever home and my people, and yes Maxie, and I know they love
me because they always tell me. I think my only flaw is that I don't
like being told no! but I get over it quickly. Mommy says I'm special
because I'm me, and really, isn't that what makes all of us special?
