Bob
arrived at my sister's house about twelve years ago. Unfortunately, she
already had five cats, who did not take well to the newest arrival. So,
Bob came to live with me. After a rough trip (where he got his nickname
poopycat) and a few tentative days, we became best friends. He
tolerates my husband, because sometimes Daddy is the only person to open
the door, but he is most definitely a "momma's cat."
Bobbycat's favorite activity now is sleeping in the sun, wherever it
might be. You can usually find him snoozing on his special mat that
helps to keep his old bones warm. He is very good at keeping me on
schedule everyday, but has not learned what a weekend is yet. He makes
sure that he and his two housemates get breakfast on time so they
can start the day of sun searching, by staring at mom and purring loudly
in her ear. He is more efficient than the alarm clock.
Though he has been through many address changes and a few family
additions he has remained My Buddy Bob. We will be forever grateful for
the time he as spent with us and hope for many more years.
