The
cat shown here is Lisa, who is my daughter's cat. She was ten years
old when my daughter took this picture. She is special because, since the
Christmas Eve we got her for my daughter, she has always been 'her' cat.
Lisa has a personality of a regal duchess and very much so has her own
opinion on everything; to where she sleeps on my daughter's bed to when
she wants to have running water to drink.
We had adopted her from the vet's office up the street and we had to
pick out the cat that matched my daughter's description of her imaginary
cat since when we got her my daughter was four. Lisa was loved from the
moment my daughter saw her from underneath the tree and was practically
smothered with kisses and hugs. Lisa was in the house for two weeks
before she had everyone under her paw including our adult Doberman
Pincher who was previously not a fan of cats. So other than being regal
in her personality she is my now fifteen-year-old daughter's reason for
loving to read. Lisa even though she has gotten older is still very much
the top dog/cat of our home.
