This
is our cat Gizmo, enjoying the crinkling of wrapping paper under
the Christmas tree. He is a domestic short hair, and lives in Merritt
British Columbia, Canada. His best friend is Shelby, our ten-year-old
chow/shepherd cross. I guess he never heard that cats and dogs are
supposed to be enemies!
Giz is special because he is a cat! He is a good, just being there cat.
He's always there ... somewhere, watching everything - he's very
observant. He likes to hide behind open doors and attack the dog ... all
in good fun, of course, as they are friends. You'd never know they are
both ten years old when this happens!
Gizmo's favorite toys are the pull off tabs from milk jugs - fancy
store-bought toys aren't nearly as good. He also prefers not to be
picked up, when he wants attention he will come get it ... until then it
is best to just leave him alone. When he decides it is time, then you
can lavish him with affection.
