When
we heard he was the last kitten left of the litter, we went to look
at him with skepticism. When I met him, the first thing he did was rub
his little wet nose on mine, and snuggled in my arms like I was his Mom.
I fell in love!
Buster comes when he is called, runs around the house like a madman, and
likes to play with us until he gets so excited and out of breath that he
starts to dry heave. He brings his favorite toy to us when we get home,
and put it down and lets out these crazy long long meows! He loves the
outdoors, and has escaped twice already...we have been so lucky to
recover him, thanks to our amazing neighbors who keep finding him on
their roof, nine houses down the street!
Buster likes to play a "hunting" game which consists of us hiding behind
something (even works if we cover our face with a hand) and remove the
hand and he is one step closer. Every time you look up he's totally
still, but one step closer to you ... until he is very close to you and
then he likes to pounce on you! Also, he has a love for human food: once
he got a hold of a diner plate on the counter and ate an entire diner of
salmon, green beans and mashed potatoes! He is always alert and first at
the front door, gives kitty love to all our guests, and makes everyone
laugh with his extra long body and extra long meow, and his endless
supply of head budding and nose licking. He seems intuitive when
something is wrong and will snuggle up in my arms when I need it most,
and this is the most important reason I love him so much.
