We
adopted Belle Maria from a cat rescue society named "Cats Off
Broadway" in November 2005. We saw her picture on the internet, and it
was love at first sight. Supposedly, she was part Maine Coon. Her unique
bobcat looking ears gave her the appearance of being a Maine Coon cat.
She may be a regular American domestic short-hair; we love her no matter
what her breed - she is a little angel to us. We call Belle our
"Christmas Kitty" because she makes it feel as if it's Christmas
everyday. Her innocent playfulness and affection melts our hearts and
helps us remember what is really important in life.
Belle shares her home with her brothers, Boo and Bear. She helps them to
bring out their "inner kittens" and to be care free. Belle makes her
mommy and daddy smile when they think about her during the day. Her
simple, cheerful self helps them to keep everything in perspective and
to treasure simple blessings. Belle's human mommy and daddy do not have
children, but they are blessed to share their lives with such a special
kitty with so many lessons on life to share!
