Moose
is a very nervous, shy and sensitive cat, but very loving to
those she has come to trust. She says of her life:
For the first two years I was on my own in Nashville, TN, and it was
sometimes hard. Then I adopted the Miss and it's been pretty good.
We've been together for eight years now! We've moved a lot: I've lived
in New York City, Austin, Texas, and now Philadelphia, PA. I liked
Austin best because I got to go outside and enjoy the beautiful porch
-- and then come back in when anything scared me! I'm sitting on the
porch in Austin in the picture.
A few years ago the Miss adopted another cat. She calls this other
cat my 'little sister' but I do not like her. She pounces on me
constantly so I have to hide in the bedroom sometimes. But eventually
the miss comes to bed and I get to purr next to her all night long.
My favorite things are canned cat food (I don't get it very often
though), my blue yarn toy, and watching squirrels. But my real
favorite thing is cuddling up the Miss as often as possible.
